Our milestones

Building a safer, more connected East Alabama

 

  • This initiative is supported by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) under opportunity number DHS-24-TTP-132-00-01.


  • Through this funding, Auburn University is advancing three key projects dedicated to community safety, early intervention, and violence prevention.

 To establish and grow the East Alabama Threat Advisory Committee (EALTAC)  a coordinated, multi-agency network that evaluates behavioral threats and connects individuals to support before an act of violence or terrorism occurs. Our aim is to promote safety, stability, and early intervention across Lee County.

  • 12 hours of foundational training completed
