To establish and grow the East Alabama Threat Advisory Committee (EALTAC) a coordinated, multi-agency network that evaluates behavioral threats and connects individuals to support before an act of violence or terrorism occurs. Our aim is to promote safety, stability, and early intervention across Lee County.
To increase understanding in East Alabama of risk factors, protective factors, and indicators associated with targeted violence and terrorism — ensuring community members know how to recognize concerns and where to report them.
Our mission is to create an informed public empowered to notice early signs and connect individuals to support.
To empower everyday community members to become trained bystanders — people who know how to recognize concerning behavior, understand the role of threat assessment, and connect individuals to resources before a situation escalates.
Our vision is a region where anyone can make a difference and help prevent violence before it begins.
We extend appreciation to our partners whose involvement strengthens prevention, outreach, and community safety:
These organizations play a critical role in broadening our reach and ensuring every community member has access to support and education.
