about our project

The East Alabama Threat Advisory Committee (EALTAC) is a multidisciplinary initiative dedicated to preventing targeted violence. This project brings together law enforcement, mental health professionals, educators, and community organizations to promote early recognition, intervention, and safety across East Alabama. Our mission is to empower communities to recognize the signs of concerning behavior, report safely, and connect individuals to the help they need before violence occurs.
